Sustain

I was hesitant at first.
My head was overwhelmed,
with thoughts of doubt and thoughts of helplessnes.
I didn't know what was overtaking me,
or if I was ready
To committ to what my heart was telling me.

It took only a day to realize it,
but even then
comparing to now,
I couldn't tell you how much I love you.
I thought I knew it then,
But each day you show me.
I pray our love will sustain
but if it doesn't I won't take the Lord's name in vain.
